Hi, I’m Rhiannon!

When I get an idea in my head, I chase it full throttle. I’ve always believed the things that light a fire in us are placed there for a reason — and I’m learning to follow where God is calling me, one step (and camera click) at a time.

My story started in a small Missouri town, where life was simple — family, wide-open fields, and county fairs. Photography entered my life as a 4-H project. I was that kid photographing livestock with a little point-and-shoot, never realizing those moments were planting the seeds for Western Lens Media.

Over time, that hobby grew into something much deeper — a calling to capture life as it is: real, emotional, and fleeting. My favorite part of being a photographer is knowing that years from now, these photos will become priceless memories. Families will look back, smile, and feel grateful to have those moments frozen in time.

After earning a degree in Agricultural Media with an emphasis in Advertising from Northwest Missouri State University, I’ve continued to combine creativity, storytelling, and connection in everything I do. Today, I balance my full-time role at Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. with running Western Lens Media — a brand rooted in faith, intention, and capturing soul-filled moments.

Outside of photography, I’m learning to slow down — spending more time with Jesus, seeking simplicity, and filling my life with what truly matters. Whether that’s a quiet morning with coffee and my Bible, a long walk, or an evening with my boyfriend here in Maryville, MO, I’m learning that peace often lives in the little things.

If you’re here because you value connection, authenticity, and photos that mean something — welcome. You’re right where you’re supposed to be.
